Delta Scientific Names Kirk To Spearhead Special Projects

VALENCIA, CALIF. – June 9, 2004 – Delta Scientific, the leading manufacturer of counter-terrorist vehicle control systems used in the United States and internationally, today announced that it has placed Bill Kirk in charge of Special Projects.
“It’s more important today than ever to protect populations from terrorist car bombings,” Kirk said. “I am very pleased to be back in the United States with Delta Scientific. I believe my experience in the international security industry will be put to use immediately in helping create vehicle access control solutions which make all of us more secure.”
Kirk, who reads, writes and speaks German and understands Italian, has a long and distinguished career in the international security industry. He has previously worked in Delta’s Rome office. Later, Delta’s business with United States military groups in Europe prompted a move to Germany. Prior to working at Delta’s European branches, Kirk was president of Security Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Brinks Europe.
“Bill is one of the most knowledgeable and successful international security consultants in the business,” said David Dickinson, Senior Vice President at Delta. “He will be personally handling the nation’s most important anti-terrorist applications.”
University of Illinois. He also earned a master’s degree in mental health counseling from St. Thomas University and was admitted to a doctoral program in the summer of 2003.
