The Need for Portable Safety Barriers
The need for protection at political rallies and government events is high. August’s DNC drew crowds of over 20,000 people each day. The Chicago Police Department, FBI, Secret Service, and more than a dozen additional law enforcement agencies were on hand to keep attendees safe. They were supported by 150 members of the Illinois National Guard on standby in the city.

- DSC1000: Carrying an ASTM rating of P50, this portable barrier is lightweight, towable, and requires no external power. It sets up in under 10 minutes, providing a fast security solution.
- DSC1500: A portable beam barricade that sets up in 10 minutes, the DSC1500 is rated to handle a 30 MPH impact from a 15,000-pound vehicle.
- MP5000: A towable, M40 Certified portable safety barrier, the MP5000 comes in 12-foot, 16-foot, and 20-foot lengths. Using hydraulics to raise and lower itself into position, it sets up in 15 minutes. The MP5000 requires either 120v or 220v power.
- TB100 and TB150 bollards: These portable safety bollards meet M30 and M50 impact ratings in a simple format. They also make an excellent added measure of security when coupled with our other portable vehicle barriers.
The MP5000 was designed at the request of the U.S. Federal Government Force Protection Specialists. It provides a high level of security that meets the strict requirements for secure military and government operations.
