The Importance of Preparedness: Early Warning Systems

Perimeter intrusion detection would have helped to identify the threat before it occurred, allowing prompt response and adequate measures to prevent such drastic losses.
While radar might not identify a sniper’s location, it would have helped to spot unauthorized access to private property, alerting police and security personnel to act quickly. By observing the lapse in past judgment, future personnel and property loss can be avoided.
