Delta Scientific’s movable vehicular barriers offer crash test-rated performance in a quickly deployed modular setup. You can install them on existing concrete or asphalt pavement, compacted soils, and other compacted hard surfaces. They require no excavation or subsurface preparation. Crash Testing Provides The Strongest Defense Available

Today’s electric trucks, including the Ford F150 Lightning, Tesla Cybertruck, Rivian R1T, and Chevy Silverado EV, are heavier than standard gas and diesel versions. Additionally, they offer responsive acceleration, which enables them to reach high speeds quickly and in a short distance. That makes them an effective weapon for charging through gates, fences, and crowds. 

The New Year’s Day attack in New Orleans involved an F150 Lightning. Despite weighing over 6,000 pounds, the truck quickly reached 60 mph over a short distance, and traveled three blocks before stopping. An M40-rated, temporary crash-tested barrier can stop a similar vehicle within feet, helping to keep crowds safe in situations like this, where permanent bollards had been removed for repairs.
