DELTA SCIENTIFIC GROWS 40 PERCENT Adds Third Building/Second Shift

VALENCIA, CALIF. – October 26, 1999 – Increases in sales of barriers, bollards, booths, gates and traffic control equipment have led to Delta Scientific’s expansion into a third location and addition of a second shift.
“As more and more companies and institutions are adding or upgrading physical access control to their facilities, our sales have gone up over 40 percent during the past year,” affirms David Dickinson, senior vice president of Delta Scientific. “We are adding more space, more people and more technology to meet our commitments to our growing customer base.”
In August, Delta Scientific announced and $8 million order to produce barrier systems for United States embassies around the world. Other countries have followed up with orders for their embassies.
“We’ve also seen greatly increased business from airports. Out booth business has expanded dramatically and the recently-introduced IP500 crash-rated portable barrier system has developed a market and following of its own,” Dickinson added.
